Water Colour

This is a PET plastic bottle. I liked the way it looked through the camera, so I took a closer look. It is something we see every day, but we rarely spend much time looking at it.

That is what I enjoy about photography. A small change in how we look can make an ordinary object interesting. Sometimes the next photo is right there in front of us.

The bottle also makes me think about what happens after we use it. We finish the drink, but the plastic stays for years. I wanted to show something worth looking at, while also giving a little thought to what we throw away. Using less plastic and recycling our bottles are small things we can do.
