While walking by a fishing lake, I noticed the wooden boards of an old jetty. A little green paint was still left on them. That is where the title came from: The Last Green.
Looking closer, I watched where the paint met the bare wood. I liked finding small patches of green on the worn surface. Perhaps the whole jetty was once this colour. Now only these marks remain.
It was good to stop and look at this detail during my walk. By a lake, we often watch the water, but there can be something interesting right under our feet. That day, a little leftover green gave me a photo.
