Metallic

Metallic shows the inside of a crumpled crisp packet. The folds in the shiny wrapper caught my eye. Light falls across them, creating bright areas beside deeper shadows.

Up close, there is a lot to explore in these folds. A small movement or a different angle changes where the surface shines. I liked how such a simple material gave me so much to play with.

The packet was empty, but there was still something worth looking at inside. In the photo, the shapes and light hold our attention. For me, it was a little time spent exploring an everyday object before putting it aside.
