Green Halo

I lit a piece of green plastic from behind. I was curious to see how the light would pass through it and how it would look through the camera. The green glowed brightly in some areas and became deeper and darker in others.

I tried different light positions and camera angles. Even a small change brought another detail into view. It was nice to watch the picture change while the object itself stayed the same.

For me, this photo holds the joy of trying things out. I had no finished picture in mind, just a piece of plastic and a light. Then the green glow caught my attention, and I kept experimenting for quite a while.
